"You can't treat me that way."
Jul. 29th, 2012 02:06 pmJune 8th.
That's the last time I touched this blog. I...really need to get better about this. Not so much so that people who don't talk to me all the time can keep up with me, though that is a very nice side effect, but because I can/could/should use the practice.
So let's see, what's all happened since June 8th?
- I am free and clear of giardia, but not the aftereffects. This is troublesome in an annoying way, and frustrating to a rather sizable degree. I just want to feel well. That's all.
- San Diego Comic Con 2012 has come and gone. I feel like there should be a super long post where I recount the random things that happened to me while I was there, and I still might. But suffice it to say that if I can go back next year, I am going to do so. Especially since it seems as if I'll be going WITH people and not just meeting them there. Major bonus, because this year I spent the bulk of my time wandering the halls aimlessly all by my lonesome.
- Finished my first run as a Foley performer with the Post Meridian Radio Players, and while I don't think I did a fantastic job, I did have a really good time. So there's that. Last night was our closing performance and also our cast party. This may explain why I'm still in jammies at two in the afternoon on a Sunday.
- Mom sold her house and moved out. This is exciting for a multitude of reasons that once the dust settles I'm sure to crow about. Until that point, however, I'll just sit here and attempt to not stress eat everything I can get my mitts on.
- My temp job a the Museum ended mid-June, and I've taken a break from volunteering for the time being. This gives me nights and weekends off which is rather nice, I must say.
- Of course those nights and weekends have been mostly full with socializing, rehearsal, and travel...so it's not like I'm just lounging on the couch pondering the nature of the universe and my place in it. Though...there has been some of that as well. I've been very seriously considering Buddhism, yoga, and possibly a walk-about...again.
- Also under consideration is getting back into the swing of biking and exercise and jogging again. That'll come this week I think. When I don't have to be anywhere after work, aside from in my own skin doing what I damn well feel like. My kingdom for a solid schedule that I can weave myself into and follow without thought.
Soon.
