attractivegeekeryI don't want to alarm anyone, but I think I've been hit by not one...but two flashes of inspiration tonight.
Okay so I technically haven't done much in the way of homework this week. Oh sure, I've been thinking about this outline assignment since last Wednesday, and I might have read some research material on the the plane this weekend, but for the most part nothing's been written.
Until tonight. Well, more like 15 minutes ago.
I decided earlier today that I was just going to skip out on work tomorrow/today/Wednesday. I'd take the day to get something written before class. Maybe mosey over to the Science Building to get it printed out, since the apartment is sans printer.
With that plan in mind I thought maybe tomorrow would go easier if I started a very rudimentary outline. With like Roman Numerals, Upper-case letters, numbers, and lower-case letters. Nothing fancy. And...I think I might have just planned out my entire paper.
It's not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination, but it's kind of got sound ideas and controls and stuff. Well...for given levels of sound ideas and controls and stuff. I even might have a way to insert RNA Inhibition into the mix at the end.
Really so long as I've got something to bring to the workshop I'll be happy, but damn if it won't be gravy if I can't get the bulk of my framework planning done. It would just be one thing to make my life that much easier over the next few months...which is something I could really use right about now.

That I did, internal monologue. That I did.
I'm doing another fanfic challenge, and tonight not only did I get my character assignment...but I might have gotten a premise that could work out wonderfully. If it doesn't get dismissed out of hand for breaking the rules entirely. Which it totally might. Maybe.
But for the moment the notion tickles me, and so I'm counting that as a win.
