Scare me up a little bit of love

On Sunday, at roughly 11:40 in the morning, I will have been on this planet for 37 full revolutions around the Sun. Which is kind of awesome. I've been referring to this as my Clerks Year because...well...37.
I know everyone's mileage varies for this sort of thing, but I quite like the idea of birthdays, and have usually enjoyed the celebration of mine. There's just something kind of wonderful about being surrounded by friends. Plus there's always the added benefit of making them do things that they normally wouldn't be caught dead doing.*
This year though, things are a bit complicated. The actual day of my birthday this year just so happens to be Easter Sunday. And while the following Monday is a holiday for me, it's also the day of the Boston Marathon. Which leaves Friday and Saturday for festivities...but I just don't know what kind of festivities.
Originally I toyed with the idea of having an All Day Brownie Bake-off, but that never really came together. I've recently gotten it into my mind that I need to make a ChocoFlan, but I'm not sure when that'd happen either.
Maybe there'll be dinner plans. I don't know, I'm still mulling it over.
*Side Story:
I'll never forget the time I had a birthday gathering at Dick's Last Resort, a place I'm still tickled by, but that a good portion of people I know loathe. During the party, midway through when I was still sober enough to remember such things, one such friend took me aside.
"It's a testament to how fond I am of you that I'm in this place at all. Happy Birthday."
Then he staggered off. Much of the rest of the night is in a fog, but I do remember ending up on stage and singing with the band...maybe?
