Marching on

Every morning in the Annex starts the same way:
I'm awake at 7:45 and out of bed by 8.
Then I futz about the house doing random little things until my normal leave-the-house time.
Random things including:

- Empty the dishwasher
- Refill the dishwasher
- Relocate things from the attic to my bedroom
- Shift things in my bedroom from one side of the room to the other
- Fold laundry
- Paint

I honestly can't help the sensation that I'm merely tilting at windmills.
Guess I've gone and reached the point of being utterly overwhelmed, huh? WHEE!

I keep trying to tell myself that I'm doing okay packing-wise. I get to keep all my clothing in my dressers, and really everything I have in closets can be shoved into Space Bags. I think that'll be on tap tonight, so that I can empty and tape my closets.

I've been putting a piece of blue tape over the doors of cabinets and closets I empty so I know not to put anything else in them.

Then there's my seemingly never-ending number of tchotchkes. Those I'm trying to wrangle and put on one surface so that I can just sit in one place, watch a movie, and do nothing but wrap/pack.

Maybe that'll be tonight as well, for lo' I spy that The Fault in Our Stars is available for purchase on Amazon.

More as it happens?
