I open a firedoor

Okay, if I'm being honest here I've been moving for the better part of what feels like forever. But this time tomorrow there'll be a crew of gigantic men in my apartment to pick up all my things and then bring them to my apartment with the intention of all my stuff being in ONE apartment.
It's daunting.
Daunting and while I fully admit that I'm freaking out, I'm not freaking out in the same way that I thought I would. Like, for instance, I haven't broken down blubbering in a puddle of woe and dismay.
Oh there've been tears, and wails of frustration for certain, but not because of any sort of grieving on my part.
On Tuesday I got stuck in a rain storm a mile and a half from home with a flat bike tire.
There might have been tears of frustration then.
Yesterday a project I thought would take far less time at work, took more, thus throwing my entire evening schedule out of whack. Just as I was hitting the final stages my phone blew up with notifications about 9 Alarm Fires and Moving and...there was a bit of pained frustration then too.
But that's about the long and short of it.
Today I have a To Do list quite literally the length of my arm. I've gone so far as to take the day off of work to accomplish it, and I really do thing it's all within reach. The move isn't going to be as pretty as I'd hoped it would be, with with my MONTHS of planning...but that's just life. And so long as I make enough headway today to allow for some kind of forward progression then it'll all get to go down in the WIN column.
Which, you know: Nice.
Even better is that at some point soon I'll be able to talk about something OTHER than moving. Which, I'll wager, is something you are all very much looking forward to.
Or maybe not. I mean...this could be cathartic for you, I really have no idea.
In any event, I fully expect my day to be fulled with UFYH 20/10s, Pandora, and much sweating as I attempt to reign in the last of the escaping stuff.
