It's Noon on the first sunny day Boston's had in almost a week.
It'd be a perfect day to be on a sail boat, but thanks to my crap ability to swim with "regulated breathing" instead of being out on the water I'm still on my couch and in my robe.
There are plans for the afternoon that I could have joined in on, plans I'd passed on because I thought I'd be taking a class right now, but I passed on them. There are several things around the house that need doing, and a few errands around my neighborhood that need completing.
My problem today isn't that I have so few things to do, it's that I have so many and I'm hemming and hawing about the order they should be accomplished. For instance:
The cat needs new litter. I can easily bike from my house to the pet store and then bike back with 30 lbs of poopsand no problem, but...I really shouldn't do that before taking a shower. That'd be silly. I'll just get all sweaty on the ride.
I would also like to top up the color in my hair, something else that would require holding off on a shower, but if I wait to do that until after my bike ride my hair is hardly "dry". So that'd mean dying my hair, rinsing the excess dye, then biking, and then showering.
Of course, the aquariums are in dire need of some additional water. This is something I could easily do while waiting for my hair to set, but that doesn't help me in the poopsand department.
And now I've just wasted ten minutes of my five hours of free time blogging about how I can't seem to efficiently organize my To Do list.
Sigh.
