My second-to-last big trip of the year starts tomorrow morning, when I board an Amtrak to New York City for the weekend.
This weekend is the New York Comic Con and while I've bought tickets to go for the last three years, I've only been able to make it into the city once. So this year will make it twice.
I am excite!
Thus far the only things I have etched in the proverbial stone are these:
Thursday:
- 8pm Mary Sue meet up (W 19th Street)
- 10pm Welcome To Night Vale (Brooklyn)
Friday:
- 6pm TMNT panel
Saturday:
- 11am Legend of Korra Panel
Monday I'll be heading back to the AmTrak, departing at 2 pm, and then heading to Providence for a 7pm lecture at RISD by Bryan Konietzko. Only to go back to the train station for 9 for my trek back to Boston for 10.
I've a host of errands to run after work today. There's a sketchbook to pick up, a Zhu Li costume to see if I can throw together, and then the hell that is packing.
So yeah, Con!
