Fig Newtons are totally acceptable breakfast foods. Don't judge me.

So this is my current quandary:

I am home sick on a holiday. I could be out of my house doing any number of activities on what appears to be a lovely April afternoon, but instead I'm on my couch in my bathrobe hoping that my Sudafed kicks in sooner rather than later.

How's that for a run-on sentence.

So as I sit here, leisurely munching on my breakfast of water and Fig Newtons, I'm pondering what to do with my sick day.

It's a given that some sort of dorky/geeky media will keep me company, but I've yet to decide if that media will be of the Samurai Jack, Avatar, or Ninja Turtle in nature. So that's not the quandary.

What I'm stuck on is whether or not I'll dye my hair today.
I have plenty of dye, so that's not the problem. What I'm missing are rubber gloves. Now, I could run across the street and buy some...along with more English Muffins and possibly more Fig Newtons...since those are now officially in short supply. But..leaving the house would mean getting cleaned up, possibly by means of a shower.

It's silly to wash one's hair before dying it.
And I'm looking and feeling too gross to just go outside the way I am. Plus...I'd need to put on pants. And I don't know if I'm ready to make that kind of a commitment yet.

Look, I know the solution is to put on a hat, and pants, and just go across the street to buy gloves and Newtons and English Muffins and Mr Clean Magic Erasers, but...moving is hard, yo.

I'm sick.
