Things wot I have done today...
Apr. 3rd, 2013 02:23 pmDon't worry, it won't be an extensive list, because...today is a day that seems to be limping by of its own accord.
- Strained my neck somehow
Last week it was the right side of my neck, today it's the left. Damn it Neck, get it together would'ja?
- Picked up my newly hemmed pants from the tailor-guy.
Yes, I could probably have just done this my damn self and saved the $7, but...as I've yet to explore how my sewing machine works, I figured it was worth the price of admission. Now I have another pair of non-jeans pants to wear to work. Huzzah!
- Signed up for "Boston By Foot's" five week training course.
Yeah, that thing I was hemming and hawing about? I went and signed up for it anyway. Why? Because I'm a glutton for punishment whose madness is expressed via Civic Mindedness. Welcome to my world of waking up at 8 AM every Saturday from a week from Saturday until late May.
- Also purchased a Group On for 4 music lessons.
Yeah, I might just pick up the sax again. I mean...I have one, I might as well use it right? Pray for the ears of my roommates, folks. Poor bastards.
- Talked to the vet regarding Grace
Apparently she's showing classic signs of Chronic Kidney Disease. Her levels are apparently okay, and she's only mildly symptomatic, but the Vet seems to think that putting her on a special diet will waylay any problems she may have for the foreseeable future. It should be noted that this special diet is prescription based, and needs to be picked up at her office....across town.
Also, I've been informed that I should avoid stressing the cat out as much as possible. So now not only does my cat have bad kidneys like I do, but she's got an anxiety problem too.
I can't tell if I'm contagious, or if this is just blind damn luck.
Tonight is my Dark Night for the PMRP show that I'm in this weekend.
(Want to know more?! Just ask!)
This means that I'll be running some errands on my way home from work, and then couch sitting for the entire evening. I can't wait! It's going to be awesome!
Especially since the new power supply and battery that I finally got around to purchasing for my netbook have come in and...wow. Just wow. They work amazingly, and I can't get over how my problems with that damn thing were so easily fixed for under $30.
So yeah, things and stuff.
