Arisia Questions!

I've never had to register before, and it looks as though I might have to register for four other people on Friday.

How does one do this thing?
Can I just buy tickets like a ticket buying person?
Or do I have to register people, with like...names and IDs and the like?

Is the process more like the Boston Comic Con? Or Dragon Con?
